Foreman Position Overview: Our client seeks an experienced and dedicated Foreman to oversee general maintenance projects. The Foreman will manage a team of unskilled helpers, meet project timelines, maintain quality standards, and foster a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of unskilled helpers on projects such as drywall repairs, painting, minor concrete repairs, and hanging things on walls, including TVs.
  • Operate snow equipment plow trucks and possibly skid steers. 
  • Must be an excellent problem solver and have the ability to prioritize and reprioritize accordingly.
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee daily work activities to ensure efficient resource use and timely project completion.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements, provide updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Inspect work sites to ensure quality control and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Operate and maintain maintenance equipment.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices and techniques.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.
  • Ensure all work is completed following company standards and client specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a foreman in general maintenance roles.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of basic maintenance tools and equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical labor as required.
